​Born in 1980, I live and work in Seoul. Trained in Korean painting (BFA, MFA, PhD, Ewha Womans University), I bring the sensibility of East Asian materials and mark-making to the Western canvas. I have held twenty solo exhibitions across Korea and France, including the Kumho Museum of Art in Seoul and Galerie 89 in Paris. The Our Songs series has been my primary focus since 2016.
